Dreaming is how you imagine your future. Hopes and wishes are the desires with no focus and are externally driven. By developing a rich tapestry of a big, bold, vibrant dream, life is enriched in a way that provides energy, passion, and direction for the dreamer.
Dreams can actually be something that fulfills a wish. What is the key to a dream is that it is something that can be attained by each of us. It is an aspect on which we can work. When it involves all of our emotional centers, it is very powerful and inspires us to greatness. When the dream is vivid, it makes it easier to know what to schedule into your calendar/to-do list. It becomes what motivates us each day to take that next step on our course. With it firmly in place, a dream can weather any storm that comes our way and, with support, can handle the little weather patterns when naysayers try to move us off course. When I think of my dreams, my energy gets so jazzed that I can do that last push of the day like a runner getting a last burst of speed before the finish line to win.
My joy is seeing women who have not seen their dreams in a long time light up when they rediscover them. They have been so focused on serving others including their family, their friends, and their career that the future has become very narrow. I foster the development of the vision, provide the structure for making the dream happen, and have created a support community that is there when naysayers block your way. Dreaming means that YOU take control of your future.
